Overview
Day 1: Santiago
Arrival to Santiago de Cuba.
A minivan ad your guide will pick you up at the airport and take you towards your accommodation in Santiago; a private house (casa particular).
Day 2: Santiago
I will pick you up in order to take you to enjoy panoramic tour of the city, including famous Cuartel Moncada.
Visit the Basílica de Nuestra Señora del Cobre.
Visit the Santa Ifigenia cemetery.
Rest of the afternoon at leisure.
Stay at private accommodation Casa Particular.
Day 3: Santiago/ Bayamo/ Holguin (road trip day)
9:00 am - Your guide will pick you up in a private transfer and take you towards Holguin but first, we will stop at Bayamo in order to visit the Revolution Square and surroundings.
Upon arrival to Holguin visit the Chorro de Maita Museum.
In the afternoon: excursion to Biran, Finca las Manacas (birthplace of Fidel Castro).
Stay at a casa particular.
Day 4 Holguin/ Camaguey/ Trinidad (road trip day)
9:00 am - Your guide will pick you up in a private transfer at your accommodation and take you to Trinidad.
On our way, we will stop at Camaguey; beautiful historical city founded in 1514.
Upon arrival to Trinidad, stay at a private accommodation.
Day 5 Trinidad.
9:00 am - Your guide will pick you up and tour you around the Historical City.
Then visit the Valle de los Ingenios (Sugar Mills Valley).
Enjoy afternoon at leisure at the beach.
Stay at a private accommodation.
Day 6 Trinidad/ Cienfuegos.
9:00 am - Your guide will pick you up to take you towards French founded city of Cienfuegos.
First stop: Guanaroca, spectacular protected area where you can take a small hike towards boats and then enjoys the show of wild pink flamingos on their natural habitat.
Second stop: Botanic Garden of Cienfuegos, take a private tour around the biggest endemic trees collection of the Island.
Continue trip towards the city; enjoy city tour.
Stay at a private accommodation.
Day 7 Cienfuegos/ Ciénaga de Zapata/ Havana.
9:00 am - Your guide will pick you up to take you towards Zapata´s Swamp.
Visit Girón (Bay of Pigs) Invasion Museum.
Enjoy scuba diving / snorkeling activities.
Later, we will continue the trip to Havana.
Upon arrival to Havana, stay at a casa particular.
Day 8 Havana
9:00 am - Your guide will pick you up at your accommodation to tour you around the modern part of Havana.
Visit the Revolution Square.
Visit Fusterlandia.
Later, we will take a tour around the colonial part of Havana and visit the most famous landmarks and historical squares.
Finally, time for purchasing souvenirs at San José Handcraft Market.
Stay at private accommodation Casa Particular.
Day 9: Havana Departure Day
Your tour leader will assist you with the confirmation of your flights and departure transfers toward the airport (3 hours before your departure flight).

Cuba is a larger country that it seems; some of these road trips you would have to take in order to arrive to other provinces and tour the Island from Havana to Santiago as you requested will exceed 5, 6 and even 7 hours.
Therefore, if you are used to long periods of time on the road then these excursions are suitable but, in case you don’t want either endure long amount of time on the vehicle I strongly recommend you to reconsider the destinations you want to visit.
