Ernest Hemingway Museum was the place of residence of the American writer in Cuba, from 1940 until his death in 1961.
Known as Finca Vigía, this property is located in the town of San Francisco de Paula, fifteen kilometers from the center of Havana. Converted into a museum on July 21, 1962, it is the first institution created in the world to divulge the life and work of the Nobel Prize for Literature 1954.
