Overview
Each conference will take 2 to 3 hours with a lunch break, followed by a field trip to a place related to the conference.
History topics:
1- Colonial Times. Conquest, colonization, development of villages. The growing of Havana in the XIX century. Beginning of the Independence Wars. End of the war in 1998. Field trip to Plaza de Armas and Plaza de la Catedral.
2- The Republic. Constitution of 1901. Emergence and development of the republic. Economic and cultural development during the 30s and the 40s. Field trip to Parque Central.
3- The 50s and the beginning of the Cuban Revolution. Field Trip to the former Presidential Palace, current Museo de la Revolucion.
